Luckily, I heard all of it. I wasn't dozing off when she was talking.

"So how long would it take?"

"To get to Zyryax... If we leave at noon, we'll arrive at night. For Zuryal, we'll arrive a bit more late than that. I think we'll stay in Zyryax for one or two days and in Zuryal for one day"

  "K"

"Let's get dressed. These folks are in the middle of cooking"

  "K"

We got dressed up and had breakfast. After breakfast, we left the home.

  "Take care on your journey"

  "We will" Spica replied.

We left the village and headed northwest. It was a long walk. We started to talk.

  "Have ever been to Zyryax?"

  "No, I haven't. I don't go travelling much"

"So, you've never been to Zuryal too, right?"

"Yea, its far away from home. Your journey brought me to these places. I gotta thank you"

"But I felt like I was dragging you around!"

"I kind of knew. You weren't dragging me around. You were bringing me along on an amazing journey"

"I think so... We'll go to more places that we've never been before. Like the Sylus Castle"

"Haha, yea. We'll get those Sylus cultists a beating"

  "Yea"

We eventually arrived in Zyryax. We went to find a place to stay. We checked in a room in an Inn. It was a cheap room. And again, one bed.

  "Are you ok-"

"We're used to it" Spica replied.

We slept peacefully that night. It was quite cold there. And I knew that Zuryal should be colder. I should get used to the temperature in Zyryax first. Zuriesta must be freezing.

This world is quite a cold world. I should've knew what to expected in desert areas at night. Especially if the sunlight couldn't really enter because of the thick clouds.

  Sylus 11: Accepted

"No one's waking me up?" I wondered as I slowly woke up.

I opened my eyes. I saw the ceiling above me. It was the wooden ceiling of the room we checked into the night before.

  "Breathing*"

I heard the breathing of Spica, who was still sleeping next to me. There was some drool on face and on the pillow. Her hair was messy too.

I got up looked out the window. I saw that it was early in the morning. It was kind of hard to tell because the world was kinda dark most of the time. I saw birds in their nests on the tree branches, they were feeding their children.

"Peaceful. We're going on a quest today... A week has past since I entered this world. I only have another week left to get to Sylus Castle..." I thought.

I took a bath and got dressed up.

  "Hmmm...? Cel? You're up early..."

"Hmm? Oh, yea. I just felt refreshed, I guess"

"Man, I'm exhausted" she said as she got up.

She got up and cleaned herself up. She got dressed in the bathroom. We went outside after she finished.

We ordered some food at a nearby restaurant.

  "Is that it?"

  "Yes"

  "Thank you"

The waiter left after taking our orders. We waited for the food to arrive.

After while, the food arrived at our table.

  "Thanks for the food!"

  "Its our pleasure"

The waiter left. Spica already started to eat her meal. I slowly ate the food I ordered.

"We're going to go on a quest, right?" I asked.

"Yea. We need some more money"

  "What quest are you expecting?"

"Hmm... I don't know. We'll see what we have soon"

  "Alright"

I continued to eat my food. Spica eating quite fast. I guess she was hungry.

After breakfast, we went to the Quest Center. We looked at the quest list.

"Hmmm... What about this? 'Urgent! The city has a serial killer on the loose. He has killed 2 people currently! Reward: 360, 000"

  "We're taking it!" Spica added.

"Woah. Are you sure that you want to get involved in this?"

"Yup! That reward is so worth it! I would do anything if I get some awesome benefits!"

She went to register for the quest. She has gotten herself into a murder mystery. I was wondering who the killer would be. "What was her benefit for helping me though..." I wondered.

  Sylus 12: Mystery

"Ok! Let's search for that guy!"

  "Wait a sec"

I went to the receptionist and asked "Excuse me, I want to ask something about the killer. What were the times for his murders?"

"The people were said to be dead by midnight"

  "What were the victim's gender?"

  "Female"

  "Where were the bodies found?"

"In the alleys. They seemed to be raped before being killed"

"So that's his motive... He wants to rape women and kill them afterwards..." I thought.

  "Thank you for the information"

  "Happy to help"

I walked towards Spica, she was sitting on a bench waiting for me.

  "What did you ask?"

"I've got some information about the killer. He kills at midnight, he targets women and he attacks in the alleys. His motive should be to fulfil his desires"

"Hmm, we have some time left... Well, a lot of time... Its only noon. Let's have some fun!"

  "Fun?"

"Yea! Let's go around the city! We should be able to find something to fun to do!"

  "Oh, alright"

She was cheerful. She walked cheerfully, she was almost skipping. I followed her around the city.

We played some games at the game center. We play games such as Shooting Pins, Roll that Ball, Pull the String and many more.

We played until the evening. After playing, we had dinner at a restaurant.

After eating dinner, we headed back to our room to prepared for our manhunt.

"Are you ready?" I asked with my hands on the door knob.

"Yup!" she answered as she inserted her sword into her scabbard.

We headed out the empty roads of the city. It was dark, as usual. It was quiet too. No one was around.

We got near an alley that was on my right, I felt someone's presence there. I drew out my sword. I walked a bit more towards my left to get a glimpse of the alley. Suddenly,

  "Raghhh!"

A man in a black hood appeared. He attacked me.

  "Erhh!"

I blocked his attack. "Go away so that I can get my hands on her!" said the hooded man.

  "Never! Arghh!"

He got a bit pushed away. I did "Heat Blast", he got knocked to the wall.

  "Huh?!"

He ran. I ran after him and used "Sharath". It was a skilled that turns the opponent unconscious. It takes up quite a lot of energy and focus.

  He fell to the ground.

"Yes! You did it! The reward is ours!"

"Yea, let's get this guy this the dungeon"

We carried the man to the authorities. He was sent to the dungeon. The city was safe from him now.

  Sylus 13: Walk

The next day, Spica and I went to the receptionist to receive the reward money. At the Quest Center, Spica went to get the reward. I waited on a bench.

"Thank you so much for turning this guy in! Here's the reward money!!!"

  "Thank youuu!!!"

Spica came back with the reward money. She seemed happy.

"Mission Accomplished!" she said handing the reward to me.

"Keep it! Its for both of us this time. At least you won't feel guilty or something"

"Haha, yeah..." I said scratching my head.

We headed to a restaurant to eat lunch, we ordered some expensive foods there. The prices of them was around 1, 000-3,000 per dish. Which wasn't that expensive for us because the reward money was 360, 000.

Our food arrived, Spica quickly dug in.

  "Wo-o-w!!! Delicious!"

  "Yea"

"The food was delicious but still... There is no feeling in it. The food Sor
a cooked tasted magical, her food was better in my opinion.

  "This is for our victory!"

"Yea. Spica, are we heading for Zuryal today?"

"Oh, yes! This evening! We'll reach by bedtime"

"K, let's pack our stuff after this"

"Ok!" she said, she continued to eat quickly.

I continued to eat my dish slowly.

After lunch, we headed back to our room and packed up our stuff. We checked out after leaving the room. We left the Inn and went to the gate of the city.

At the gate, we looked back.

  "Goodbye, Zyryax..." said Spica quietly.

  "You'll miss this place, right?"

"Yea, it was my first time living in a city"

  "Let's go. We'll be late"

"Yea" she said looking forward. While walking, she looked back several times. She must've loved the place. I felt sorry for her.

It started to get really dark, we were in the middle of a long road. We still had another half to walk.

  "Grug!"

I heard a weird sound. I looked around and saw a walking skeleton.

  "Weapons ready!"

  We were surrounded by them.

  "Gruuug!!"

  "Grug!"

  "Grug..."

I charged at them, Spica did too. We attacked them one by one. They die in a few hits. But it wasn't an enemy we could kill in 4-5 seconds. It took about 20 seconds per enemy.

After killing all of them, we saw more emerging from behind.

  "Run!"

I grabbed her hand and ran. I knew that this fight would never end. We ran for quite a while.

We eventually stopped running when we think it was safe. We were panting.

"Are you... Huff... Huff... Ok?" I asked.

"Yes... Huff huff huff huff... I just need to breath..."

We walked the rest because we thought it was safe.

After a long walk, we eventually arrived at Zuryal. We checked in at a hotel and went to our room.

When we entered the room, we immediately jumped in bed.

  "I'm exhausted" said Spica.

I knew that she was exhausted. It has been a long day, a long walk too. I also fell asleep.

  Sylus 14: Zuryal

It was hot. I was sweating. I couldn't bear the heat. I woke up.

I saw Spica, who was sleeping on her stomach next to me. She was still wearing the clothes she wore last night. She was sweating too.

"Spica... Spica... Wake up" I said as I tried to wake her up.

  "Hmm? Wow... Its hot..."

"Yea, you're sweating all over. You're still wearing the same clothes"

"Well, its hot here mainly because its near the desert. Let's get some Zuryal clothes..."

"K. It should be useful in Zuriesta too because its a desert"

I took off my jacket. Spica went for a bath first. I took a bath after her. After the bath, we got dressed and left the room.

We headed out of the hotel. We immediately went to the clothes shop nearby.

We entered the shop, I went to the male's section while Spica went to the female's section.

I saw a brown-ish robe. I tried it out in the testing room. The size was perfect for me. It covered my whole body, it must've been a traditional Zuryal robe.

"Nice robe!" Spica commented my robe at the counter.

  "You too"

She wore a white robe. It was simpler than mine. She didn't have the traditional decorations that mine had. Her robe was simply, plain white.

We paid for the robes at the counter. We left the shop after paying for the robes.

We went to a local restaurant to order some food. We were really hungry because we didn't eat after our journey here nor ate breakfast that morning.

We were given a menu. It was full of food that I didn't recognize. Well basically, I couldn't recognize most of the foods in this world.

"Baked Myakono... Fried Plastrasannyo... I don't know what the hell these things are" I thought.

"I'll have a Zuryalian Bobi Streekh"

I was shocked that Spica ordered so quickly. I was still in the middle of deciding between foods that I never heard of.

  "I-I-I'll have a Fried Felastaffo"

"Alright. Please be patient, thank you"

The waiter left us to give the order to the cheff.

"How we're you able to choose so quickly?"

"It was random! I never tried any of them before, so I just picked whatever that sounds good. Never know til you try!"

"Oh... I had a hard time choosing just now"

  "It seemed that way"

After some more chat, our mystery food arrived.

  "Thank you!" said Spica.

My dish looked like a fried crab with some bread. It also had some golden colored sauce. Spica's dish looked like Bryloin Beef Soup.

I tried it out. It tasted quite good. It tasted like how I imagined what food in these parts would taste like. It tasted like the desert.

We were planning to go to Zuriesta the next day. The night was cold, we had to wear our jackets to keep ourselves warm. We slept in the hotel room for another cold night there.

  Sylus 15: Zuriesta

The next morning, we woke up and took a bath. We then changed to our robes.

After changing, we decided to go to the restaurant that we went to the day before.

  "Fried Felastaffo, please!" I ordered.

"Fried Plastrasannyo for me!" said Spica.

  "Thank you"

The waiter left. We waited for our dish to come.

"So, you're going for something different today"

"Yup! I'll never know until I try it out!"

The dish eventually arrived at the table. My dish was the same dish that I the day before.

Spica ordered something new. I didn't remember the name of her meal. Her meal looked like some fried prawns and squids with some gravy and sauces.

After breakfast, we paid for the meal and went to our room to grab our swords. We left the hotel to go to Zuriesta.

We left Zuryal and entered the desert. It was an empty desert. The desert was different from what I knew how deserts look like.

Whenever I hear the word 'Desert', I imagine a sandy wonderland with the sun blazing upon the land. But the desert here was different from what I imagined. The desert was dark, there was no sun to be seen, there were only dark clouds in the sky.

  "Look! Its the pond!"

The pond was in sight. We walked closer and closer to it. We arrived at the pond, it kind of looked like an oasis.

The pond splashed a bit, the guardian's voice could be heard.

"Hello. You must be here for my Syress. If you do, then you must complete this task. Are you here for it?"

"Yes, we're here for the Syress" said Spica.

"Ok, then. The task is to kill the 'Sand Demon' ahead of this pond"

  "We'll do it" I replied.

"Good luck!" said the guardian as it disappeared.

  "Let's go" I said.

  "Let's go!!!"

We walked passed the pond, we stood in the empty and quiet desert.

  "Phewshh*"

I heard a sound. I drew out my sword, Spica followed. I should be able to hear it because of how quiet the desert was.

  "Phrewshh!"

I heard it from behind. I turned around and saw it behind me. I did "Rapid Fire" to attack it. It got damaged from the attacked.

Spica jumped in and did a spin attack. The enemy used the sand to make a wave that it can surf on. It surfed around us in circles.
