  "It been amazing. I have organized today's event!"

  "Cool. Are you happy about Sylus's fall?"

  "Yea... Really happy. Thank you"

  "You were a part of it too"

  "Yea... Well, see you soon! I'm busy!"

  "Oh, k. Bye"

  I left her room and got ready for the event happening soon.

  In the evening, the event has started. The king gave a speech.

  "Lately, our kingdom has been attacked by Arsceil, our former royal wizard. Our princess was kidnapped and was brought to the world called Ayrus! Luckily, we have a brave knight. He rescued our princess with the help of Spica! Calling Cel Alt, Princess Sora's personal knight. Come on stage!"

  I walked up to the stage. I kneeled in front of the king.

  "Rise! You are the Hero of Cielo!!!"

  "Raaaahhh!!!"

  "Please accept these gifts. This is your new uniform. And I present to you, your new sword. Lucinar!!!"

  "Thank you, your Majesty"

  "You can call me dad"

  "Thank you, d-dad"

  After the event, Sora and I looked at the sky from her room's balcony.

  "Congrats! You deserved it, my knight"

  "You were the reason for me to fight"

  "I kind of knew"

  "Sorry, that I didn't get to protect you. Like I promised. But I promised to myself that I would save you. And I did"

  "I'm happy that you did"

  "Sora, I love you"

  We kissed under the bright moon at night. The stars were bright that night. It was a magical night. It was a night that I won't forget.

  End of Arc 2: Sylus

  Yea, I didn't get to put any mid air combat here. I just couldn't find the right time and place. It just seemed like its hard to do in Ayrus.

  The next arc is set a year after this arc. The story will differ from these two arcs.

  The third arc will feature new weapons and skills.

  This arc had been fun to make. I was excited to write this arc. Hope you are all excited for the next arc!

  Arc 3: CrossFire

  Welcome to the third arc! I am not sure about the length of this one but I hope to write around 20 chapters again.

  This arc will have some perspective switching. The story will sometimes be narrated from a narrator point of view. I'll write the change of perspective. For example, //Sora's POV//.

  Skills won't play much of a role or won't be here at all. The skills would rarely appear such as in flashbacks, perspective changes etc.

  This arc is set in the world of Galaya. The world isn't at peace, there are many conflicts in the world.

  XFire 1: Threat

  A/N

  This is written in a narrator's point of view.

  ---

  "Phew!*"

  The sounds of arrows flying through the air at high speed.

  "Cover!"

  The sounds people shouting, yelling, screaming and crying... All of them could be heard.

  The smell of smoke, from the burning houses. The sight of arrows stuck on walls of wooden buildings.

  "Gahhh"

  "Lieath!!!"

  An unpeaceful world. A world in chaos... A world in war... A world of bows and arrows...

  This is the world where chaotic and terrorizing events happen everyday, this is the world known as... Galaya.

  At a bar, the men were having a chat while drinking beer and rum to kill time. There was a bad smell inside of the bar.

  A man stood up and climbed up the table. He tapped with foot to gain everyone's attention.

  "May I have your attention, please! All I wanted to say is that... It is useless being a strong person. It requires skill to win fights in this world. If you're that type who uses the power of his strength, come at me!!!"

  "Phew!!!*"

  The sound of an arrow was heard.

  "Gahh..."

  The man had his hands on his chest, he looked at his hands, he saw his own blood gushing out of his body. The man fell to the ground.

  "He talks big"

  A man at the back left corner of the bar said that. We walked up to the front, his bow was in hand.

  "I'm the incarnation of strength! I'll use it to rule over this chaotic world! I'll kill the king with my own bow and arrow. I go by the name, Zeynox!"

  He started to shoot everyone in the bar.

  "Ahh!!"

  "Oooph"

  Gahh!!!"

  "Run!"

  The arrows were flying everywhere. The bar was filled with the bodies of the people who died at his hand. No one survived.

  The king's knight entered the bar the see a blood bath. People in the bar were all dead. At the counter they found a note. It read:

  "Dear person who read this,

  I am Zeynox. I killed all of these people with my own bow and arrows. I dare you to fight me. Bring it on."

  The message was given to the king of Galaya. He was shocked to hear the news.

  "We got to solve this problem. I've heard that the knight from Cielo had slain the wicked goddess, Sylus. Maybe we should contact them for help. Write a help message!"

  The message was given to an ambassador. The portal to Cielo was opened, the ambassador went through the portal to deliver the king's message.

  XFire 2: Mystery

  //Cel's POV//

  I was accompanying Sora to the castle garden.

  "Tweet tweet"

  The birds were flying happily in sky. They were chirping too.

  "It has been a year since that day, huh?" said Sora as she was picking some flower and smelling their wonderful scent.

  "Yea, the day that Cielo got attacked by Arsceil"

  A year has passed since the fight for Cielo. I have been doing my duties as Sora's official personal knight. It was peaceful life here.

  I was living in the castle since then, I finally had a bed that I can call my own. In my opinion, I had the best job I could ever had.

  "Cel Alt, your majesty has summoned you. Your highness, may I borrow your knight for a bit" said a soldier who just arrived in the garden.

  "Its fine, go on"

  "I'll be back"

  "Ok"

  I went off to the king's room. I had no idea why he summoned me.

  I knocked on the door, "Its me, Cel. May I come in?", "Please do" he replied.

  I entered the room. The king was looking out at the window, he had a piece of paper in his hand.

  "Cel, I just got a letter from the king of Galaya. He stated that a person named Zeynox killed everyone inside a bar. This mass murderer was dangerous, he wanted you to help out in putting an end to Zeynox's killing spree"

  "Mass murderer... What does he look like?"

  "No one knew. The second case was no help in identifying either"

  "Second case?!"

  "He murdered a group of teenagers who were having a picnic. All of them were dead"

  "Damn, this guy is crazy"

  "Indeed, he wants you to come over to Galaya to solve this mystery. Tell me whenever you are ready, I'll inform the kingdom when you are"

  "Alright"

  "You may go to Sora now"

  "Ok, I'm leaving"

  I left the room. I was walking back to the garden. I was thinking "Why am I being dragged into hell again... At least Sora won't be a part of it though".

  I've heard that Galaya was a dangerous place to be in. The world was chaotic, and people die everyday. A whole lot of people at once was something terrifying. I didn't want to be involved in dangerous situations like this again, but it seems like I had to. "I got to tell Sora about this..." I thought.

  XFire 3:War

  //Ayla's POV//

  "They should be here anytime soon"

  "Are you sure about that?"

  "100%! I'm confident!
"

  My name is Ayla. I am a girl who was a part of the Prevention Squad. We were ordered by the king to prevent disasters from happening to the king's palace. My squad members were talking about the terrorists who were planning on placing a bomb at our fortress.

  "We don't have to worry because Ayla is on our side!"

  "Yea! Hey, Ayla! Wanna go somewhere later?"

  "Don't hit on her now!!!"

  "You're hilarious. I know you're forever single so don't you even dare to try" I replied.

  "Woah. You got roasted, Keeth"

  "Damn... That was harsh"

  People try to get me to date them but they always fail. They think that I'm hot and all but I won't ever let them date me. Besides, I was only 15 years old.

  "Hey. Its them. Don't let them see us!"

  "Ayla, get ready to snipe that guy who has the crossbow"

  "Roger"

  "We'll go down there to assault them. Shoot him when you're ready"

  "I'll snipe him down when you reach that giant rock over there"

  "K"

  They went to assault them from a closer distance. The terrorists were a kilometer away from me. I should be able hit them.

  I saw that my members have reached the rock. I was ready to shoot. I pulled the arrow string back. I got up and shot through the over window.

  "Oooomph!"

  I heard my target's final words. He fell to the ground. One out, 5 more to go.

  I saw that the guy who has carrying the bomb took the crossbow. I tried to shoot him but he dodged. My squad was shooting them from behind the rock.

  Three of the terrorists were left. The bomb guy looked at me. He ran behind a rock, I couldn't see him.

  "Pheww*"

  An arrow flew passed my face. It was from the bomb guy behind the rock. He kept shooting at me, I hid behind the wall.

  I pulled the string back, I was ready to shoot. I looked through and saw he wanted to shoot an arrow with the bomb tied to it. He shot the arrow.

  I shot the arrow at the flying bomb arrow.

  "Tiing!*"

  It hit the bomb, it was redirected to the bomb guy.

  "Boom!*"

  It exploded at the rock. The rock blew up, I saw his body on the ground.

  I shot the last one and it was over.

  "Nice job"

  "Thank you..." I replied.

  Suddenly, I heard horse sounds coming from bellow.

  "Ayla!!!"

  I heard someone calling my name. I looked down and saw a knight.

  "What?!"

  "The king summoned you!!!"

  XFire 4: Life

  "Cel, what do you want for dinner soon?"

  "Anything you cook, all of them are amazing"

  "I know that! I just wanted to know what you specifically"

  "I don't really care. Food that you cook is the best cooking in the whole world!"

  "Teehee, you're sweet. Let's take a break here"

  After walking in the garden for a while, we sat at a bench in the garden.

  The sun was setting, it was beautiful. The began to turn orange in color. I remembered the time I stayed in Ayrus. The skies was covered by dark clouds, the sun was no where to be seen. The clouds finally disappeared once I defeated Sylus.

  "I still remember our stay at our temporary home in the village"

  "Haaaa... Yea... I loved those days. It was only you and me..."

  "I was free from doing things like attending royal meetings, writing reports and all that stuff"

  "The good ol' days..."

  "Yea, the good ol' days..."

  I closed my eyes as I was recollecting the memory of those days. I remembered all those nights together. Sleeping in our cozy home...

  "Oh, right! Cel, what did dad call you for?"

  "Oh! I forgot to tell you about that!"

  "Is there something important?"

  "The king of Galaya needed my help in solving a mass murder case. This guy named Zeynox killed all of the people in a bar and everyone of the teenagers who went for a picnic at a certain place. We have no idea about how he looks like"

  "Are you leaving Cielo again?"

  "I have to"

  "Its only for a while!" I added.

  Sora let out a breath and said "Alright, then. Just make sure that you come back alive"

  "I will. I promise"

  "Ok! Now, do you think its time to head home?"

  "Yea, its getting dark"

  We got up from the bench. We walked out of the garden and entered the castle.

  Inside, we saw Spica at the notice board.

  "Hey, Spica!"

  "Huh? Oh, hi!"

  We approached her to see what was going on.

  "What are you doing?" Sora asked.

  "Just pinning these posters"

  "What are these about?"

  "Just some knight training event"

  "Oh, k. See you" I said as Sora and I went upstairs.

  "K, bye!"

  "Good night, Sora"

  "Sweet dreams, Cel"

  "That familiar quote"

  "Yup!"

  "Bye" I said as I left her room.

  "Yea, bye"

  I went to see the king.

  "Dad, I'm ready to go to Galaya"

  XFire 5: Galaya

  //Ayla's POV//

  The king summoned me to go to his castle. Although my Prevention Squad was ordered by the king to protect his palace, we were not a part of the royal guards or anything. We were more or less hired to do so. We just wanted the money from doing the job.

  I arrived at the palace gate, the guards opened the gates for me to enter the palace grounds. When I entered, they closed the gates behind me.

  Inside the castle, the guard lead me to the throne room.

  I had no idea why the king summoned me. "Was it about our deal?" I wondered as I got closer to the throne room.

  The guards opened the door, I saw the king sitting on his throne. I bowed in front him.

  "Why did you summon me, Your Majesty?"

  "Have you heard of the mass murder case?"

  "Yes, what about that?"

  "I want you to be Cel Alt's partner"

  "Cel Alt? Who's that?"

  "He's the kingdom of Cielo's best knight. He will be helping in the solving of this murder case"

  "Will do, Your Majesty"

  "Good, please allow my guard to lead you to the portal"

  His guard led the way to the portal room.

  "Why am I getting involved in this murder case?" I wondered.

  //Cel's POV//

  I was ready to go to Galaya. I brought my sword, Lucinar with me.

  I went to the portal room. There were people there. Sora, Spica, the king and some guards were there.

  "Have a safe trip!" said Spica.

  "Come back soon..." said Sora.

  Spica and Sora hugged me. The king came to me.

  "Cel, here's the clothes that you'll be wearing"

  He presented to me a white jacket with some black outlines on the collar, the edge of the sleeves, the pockets and some other places.

  "Go and change into it"

  I went to the changing to change into the jacket. It was perfect is size, it was kind of skin tight. I put my scabbard on my waist belt.

  I returned to the portal room. The guards walked me to the portal. Before I enter the portal, I looked back.

  "Good luck!" said Sora.
